What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as your login session or display preferences — so you don't have to re-enter it each time.
it.you uses cookies sparingly. Most tools on this site run entirely in your browser and do not require cookies at all. Cookies are only set when you create an account or interact with features that require server-side state.
Cookies we set
The following table lists every cookie that it.you may set on your device.
| Name | Type | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| session | Essential | Session (browser close) | Maintains your login session. HTTP-only, SameSite=Lax, Secure in production. |
| remember_token | Essential | 30 days | Set when you tick "Remember me" at login. Allows persistent login across browser restarts. |
| csrf_token | Essential | Session | Protects forms against cross-site request forgery. Required for all POST requests. |
We do not set advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or analytics cookies that identify individual users.
Third-party cookies
it.you does not embed third-party advertising networks or social media widgets that set their own cookies. If we add any such integrations in the future, this policy will be updated and a notice will appear on the site.
Our current third-party dependencies that may set cookies:
- None at this time. All external scripts (Tailwind CSS, fonts) are loaded from static files or CDNs that do not set tracking cookies.
Analytics
We use server-side access logs and aggregate statistics to understand which tools are popular and how the site is performing. This does not involve cookies or tracking individual users across sessions. Log data is anonymised (IP addresses are hashed) and retained for 30 days.
Controlling cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in to your account, but will not affect your ability to use the tools — most tools work without any cookies.

Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to how we use cookies — for example, by adding analytics or advertising integrations — we will update this page and notify registered users. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
