Content Policy
Standards for editorial content, user submissions, and acceptable use.
This policy explains what may appear on it.you and how we handle material submitted through support, feedback, and abuse-reporting forms. It applies alongside our Terms of Service and Editorial Policy.
Editorial content
Accuracy, safety, and human review
Tools, learning paths, reference material, and articles must have a clear practical purpose. Instructions should identify important assumptions, distinguish examples from production advice, and avoid claims that cannot be checked. Security-sensitive content must include appropriate cautions and should not encourage readers to paste real credentials, private keys, access tokens, or confidential production data into any online service.
Drafts may use research or automation to help with structure, but automated output is not eligible for publication without manual review. A reviewer must check sources, test examples, confirm internal links, remove unsupported claims, and assign an accountable byline. Our public article quality gate is a baseline, not a substitute for editorial judgment.
Material we do not allow
Content and conduct that can cause harm
- Illegal content or instructions whose primary purpose is facilitating wrongdoing
- Malware, credential theft, phishing, deceptive downloads, or links intended to compromise a device or account
- Harassment, credible threats, hate content, sexual exploitation, or content that exposes private personal information
- Copyright-infringing material or submissions that misrepresent ownership or permission
- Spam, automated form abuse, fabricated reviews, impersonation, or attempts to manipulate advertising interactions
- Keyword-stuffed, scraped, spun, near-duplicate, doorway, cloaked, or mass-generated pages created primarily to influence search rankings
- Undisclosed paid links, reputation-renting placements, or third-party pages published primarily to inherit this site’s search signals
- Secrets or sensitive personal data that the submitter is not authorised to disclose
User submissions
Contact messages, bug reports, profile fields, and support replies should be relevant to the request and lawful to share. Do not send passwords, API keys, recovery codes, private keys, full payment-card details, medical records, or unrelated personal data. We may remove malicious links, reject abusive submissions, restrict accounts, or preserve information when reasonably necessary to investigate misuse or comply with law.
Corrections and reports
If a page contains an inaccurate claim, broken example, attribution problem, or unsafe instruction, use the contact form and choose “Content correction.” For harmful conduct or misuse, use Report Abuse. Copyright notices are covered by our DMCA Policy. Reports should identify the exact URL and explain the issue so it can be reproduced and evaluated.
How decisions are made
We consider context, likely harm, technical merit, applicable law, and whether a less restrictive correction is sufficient. Depending on the issue, we may edit a page, add a warning, remove content, disable an account, preserve relevant records, or take no action. This policy may change as the service and legal requirements evolve.
